Mitchell Nguyen, CPP Campaign Director, was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University where he began his involvement with the Vietnamese community. From there, he has supported his community through leadership roles such as Hospitality and Marketing Director for Camp Delta, Secretary of AASIA, and Marketing Director for the UNAVSA-13 Conference. Mitchell currently holds the title of Internal Vice President for UVSA Gulf Coast. When he isn’t binge watching a show on Netflix, you can catch him chowing down on Popeyes or recording his life story for Snapchat.

Dan Quach was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He graduated in May of 2015 with a B.A in Government and International Politics and a minor in Intelligence Analysis. His involvement in VSA included being secretary for GMU VSA, various staff positions for MAUVSA Advance Conference IV, V, and VI, UNAVSA-13 Family Leader, and CPP Campaign Team. In 2015 Dan was selected as the winner of UNAVSA-12 Momentum photo campaign. Throughout his VSA involvement, Dan always encouraged members to become engaged within VSA, whether it be on the local level, regional level, or the UNAVSA level. Outside of VSA, Dan is employed at Kung Fu Tea and is a contractor for VT iDirect. [clear]
Julie Tran was born and raised in Boston, MA. She graduated in a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Asian-American Studies at the University of Massachusetts – Boston, where she is continuing her studies in Education as a graduate student. Julie was first involved with the Vietnamese community when she was part of UMass Boston’s VSA and has grown to taken leadership positions in New England Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Associations, UNAVSA, etc. Julie’s experiences with UNAVSA included as the UNAVSA-13 Logistics Director as well as the co-CORR for the New England region for the 2014-2015 term. She wants to use her experiences in order to educate others the importance of leadership and history in the Vietnamese community. In her free time, Julie loves to travel, living the foodie life, and puppies. [clear]
Lil Tran started out in Toronto, Canada but never stayed anywhere too long. She recently graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Neuroscience and currently works at a healthcare start-up in Chicago. She has been involved with VSA as the Co-President of MSU VSA, the Michigan State Representative for UVSA-Midwest, and the Co-Director for VIA’s CPP campaign. Most of Lil’s passion for the Vietnamese community can be found in her love for CPP and all that CPP does to give back to the community. She’s excited to be working with UNAVSA for the first time and has been obsessed with N’awlins for some time now. When she’s not working or volunteering, she can be found Netflixing or napping. Eric Yao was born and raised in New York City and currently pursuing a B.B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Political Science at Baruch College. Involved with VSA since his freshman year, Eric has held multiple leadership roles such as Vice President of Marketing for Baruch VSA and served as staff for UNAVSA-13 Media Committee. Aside from his involvement within the VSA community, Eric also enjoys photography and biking for recreation. As an individual who aspires to motivate emerging and current leaders, he is excited to join the CPP Campaign Team and work with the Catalyst Foundation to be a catalyst for success!
